আজকের যাত্রা শুরু হলো সিটং থেকে, আর গন্তব্য ছিল শান্ত ও মনোমুগ্ধকর লামাহাটা। পথে আমরা ছুঁয়ে গেলাম একের পর এক অপূর্ব জায়গা—প্রতিটিই যেন প্রকৃতির এক একটি কাব্য। প্রথমেই এল জোগিঘাট (Jogighat)—টীস্টা নদীর তীরে এক মনোরম ব্রিজ, যেখানে পাহাড়, জল আর আকাশ একসাথে মিশে গেছে এক অপূর্ব ছন্দে। শান্ত নদীর বুকে ভেসে আসা বাতাসে মন ভরে গেল প্রশান্তিতে। এরপর পৌঁছালাম রবীন্দ্র ভবন, মংপু (Rabindra Bhavan, Mungpoo)-তে—যেখানে কবিগুরু রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর জীবনের শেষভাগে সময় কাটিয়েছিলেন। প্রতিটি দেয়াল যেন তাঁর স্মৃতিতে ভরা, তাঁর সৃষ্টির ছোঁয়ায় মুগ্ধ সেই পরিবেশ আজও সাহিত্যপ্রেমীদের টানে। তারপর ঘুরে দেখলাম মংপু ভিউ পয়েন্ট, যেখান থেকে দেখা যায় পাহাড়ের সারি, মেঘের খেলা আর দূরে টীস্টা নদীর বক্ররেখা। এক কথায়—অপার্থিব দৃশ্য। অবশেষে পৌঁছালাম আমাদের গন্তব্য লামাহাটা (Lamahatta)—সবুজ বন, শান্ত পাহাড় আর ঠান্ডা বাতাসে ভরা এক স্বর্গীয় গ্রাম। পাহাড়ের কোলে এই ছোট্ট হোমস্টে আমাদের দিনের ক্লান্তি ভুলিয়ে দিল এক নিমিষে। এই ভ্লগে আমরা শুধু স্থান ভ্রমণ করিনি, ছুঁয়েছি পাহাড়ের প্রাণ—প্রকৃতির মায়া, ইতিহাসের ছোঁয়া আর শান্তির অনন্ত সৌন্দর্য।” Our journey continues from Sittong to Lamahatta, passing through some of the most beautiful and soulful places of North Bengal. Every stop on the way had its own story to tell. Our first destination was Jogighat, a serene bridge over the Teesta River, where the mountains meet the mist and the river hums its own melody. The tranquil flow of water and the cool breeze created a moment of perfect peace. Next, we visited Rabindra Bhavan in Mungpoo, the residence where the great poet Rabindranath Tagore spent his final years. Every corner of the house echoes his timeless creations and carries the scent of literature and nostalgia. We then explored the breathtaking Mungpoo View Point, offering panoramic views of the Teesta valley, rolling hills, and floating clouds—a truly mesmerizing sight! Finally, we reached our stay at Lamahatta, a peaceful village surrounded by pine forests and mountains. The fresh air, serene silence, and natural beauty made it the perfect end to our day’s journey.
