Following protests the week of Dominion Day and Canada Day, since 1978, multiple Cannabis Day protests returned across the country, including a public protest in Vancouver, BC on July 1st, in 2022. Longtime activist, resident, and Grand Marshal of the Global Marijuana March protest parade, Steven Jensen, has authorized the protest on unceded territory in the area also known as Thornton Park. “Everyone is welcome”, Steven ‘Landlord’ Jensen told POT.TV. “Be peaceful, take care of the park, take care of yourself and others.
