Swan mine, also known as Kingsdown Quarry is a small bath stone mine that began operation in the 18th century. Closing in 1932, It was the last mine in the UK to remove stone by horse and cart, with cart tracks and hoof marks still visible nearly 100 years later. Records show that only 13 miners would have been working at a time with at least 2 of them being killed by collapses. Sightings of paranormal activity are incredibly common in this mine. From smelling pipe smoke to hearing miners working on the stone. We made our way to the end of the tunnel to where a collapse killed at least one man when working on the crane to investigate the paranormal activity.
