Stage drops are the same as before. Floor 21 - 0:00 Mostly the same stage as before, except now the stage has a much shorter length and Hackey shows up to further confine the space. However, it’s just as easy to rush as before. Floor 22 - 0:50 The Brollows in this stage are now buffed up more and are joined by Miz Devil, who serves to protect them. However, Miz Devil is the perfect target for Slime to land a hit and delete an entire wave of enemies. Once the spam dies down, use the same usual Necromancer strats to clean up Flying Ninja. Floor 23 - 2:17 The most notable change for this stage is in its startoff. Instead of stalling an I.M. Phace, you instead have to stall an Ursamajor, who becomes nigh impossible to stall once Strengthened. Build up to max wallet, using Kitty of Liberty as much as possible to clear out the Shibaliens. The boss wave is joined by X-mas Pudding Cat, but the way the battle functions is exactly the same as before. Floor 24 - 4:43 Not only are the enemies stronger here, they now have new support in the form of Aku Doge and Sir Rel. Despite this, the optimal strat is still to use ranged stacking with Gas Mask as your meatshield. Build up your wallet at the start and use the funds from the constant spam to spam your own attackers. Gas Mask can take a beating from the Black enemies, so as long as you can ward away Sir Rel and Aku Doge, the stage will be smooth sailing. Floor 25 - 6:43 The only difference you’ll see is that the Gory Blacks are replaced by Bore Jr. Take the Bore Jrs down quickly and the stage should get rushed just as easily as before. Floor 26 - 7:38 The main difference here is that Othom joins the boss wave as a secondary boss, making it significantly harder to stall Divine Cyclone. Make sure you get a good start or else Othom pushes forward extremely hard and makes it very difficult for Sanzo to do his job. If you have Doron, bring it here as the time bought by his Freeze on Othom is invaluable here and makes it very likely to win this stage. Floor 27 - 11:12 This stage tends to catch people off-guard since it adds Zollow into the mix of enemies spawned throughout the stage. However, there is a tool you can obtain from the other tower that makes this stage a lot easier: Master Uril. At level 30, his Surge weakens the Zollows enough to the point where Thaumaturge can finish them off and leveling him up further allows his Surge to just outright kill them. Since it stays active for so long, this makes it incredibly unlikely for Zollow to delete your stack of ranged attackers. Floor 28 - 13:19 The only addition to this stage is a Mr. Mer added to the boss wave. As scary as having a Wave enemy on a Metal stage sounds, dealing with Mr. Mer is incredibly easy and can be done by spamming Courier and Octo to stop his Miniwaves and deal damage to him directly. As for the Metal enemies, try not to kill them all too fast as you want to use them as a stepping stone for MML and Slime to deal with the Loincloths. I had poor luck when trying to deal with the Metal enemies slowly, but on average you should get more crits to deal with the Hippoes. Floor 29 - 15:29 Do not underestimate this stage’s startoff. The Aku Doges can and will kill you if you try to toy around with them. Try to leave only a single Pizza alive after the initial wave of enemies so you can get max wallet easier (or you know, using a Rich Cat). However, this stage is actually an enemy intro stage… Introducing Midnite D: an Aku variant of Rain D with 300,000 HP, an 80,000 HP Shield regenerating at 50% HP, 20 KBs, 23,000 damage, and 300 range. While the Shield makes Midnite D pesky and persistent, it’s actually not all that different from Rain D when it comes to counters and almost everything that works against Rain D works against this. The main exception to this is that you can’t really Bahamut chain Midnite D. The boss wave swaps out Angelic Gory and Gory Black for Aku Doge and Aku Gory, and 3 Midnite Ds join the backline throughout the battle. Try to focus your firepower toward dealing with Aku Gory, since that is the main threat to your meatshield line. Otherwise, the Beefcakes are easy enough to control and the stage should play out similarly to the original version.
