NGO Asha Chennai holds ACE Impressions for government school students at World Trade Centre, Amazon

Under Asha Chennai’s flagship ACE (Asha Computer Education) program, 105 government school teachers from Thiruvallur, Thoothukudi, Thiruvannamalai, and Villupuram were trained by Asha. The second batch of teachers began only in August 2024 but went above and beyond to complete the first year of our program on schedule. They continued working on their projects through the summer holidays and submitted them by May 10th. Over 300 innovative projects were submitted! The ACE Impressions event to show case the best projects was funded and hosted by Amazon at the World Trade Centre, Perungudi, Chennai on 21 June, 2025. After a tough selection, 17 stellar teams made it to the grand finale! 1st place -🥇 GHSS Melsevalampadi (Villupuram) wowed us with their “Assam Forest” project — taking home smartwatches, medals, certificates, and ₹1.6L for their school! 2nd place- 🥈PUMS Singarajapuram (Thiruvallur) took second place with “Payanam,” winning ₹1.3L! 3rd place - 🥉PUMS Ganalapadi (Thiruvannamalai) earned third for “CIRCUITS” and bagged ₹1L, plus trophies, medals & certificates!
