BROOKANDS (MOTORCYCLE) RACING HERITAGE FILMS Brookland has many legends from its rich motorcycle racing past. Malcolm Brown shares the history of his father, who was one of them, along with his works original Douglas 1927 factory sponsored racing motorcycle. It was built ,by the factory, to be raced at Brooklands. We tell the story of the post war activities of GD and the relationship between father and son . There is rare footage of post war events promoted at the track by the Brooklands Society. The film culminates with Malcolm riding the machine that “My father never let me ride”.
