Hello folks, it took a while but I finally made an introduction video for the field of computer science, which is the area where I'm taking a PhD in! In just under 6 minutes I try to give an intuition of the different layers and fields that exist in the world of computer science and computer systems, so here is a map for you! (theoretical CS guys hang in there, I need to study a bit more for that video!) Computer Science is a broad field where you can choose to work at many different levels, anywhere from the 0s and 1a that go through the CPU all the way to the AI applications that run in datacenters.
