This series is the first step in our electric car conversion and focusses on the components of the EV drive train (charger, electric motor, inverter.) This video focusses on the Nissan Leaf Inverter and getting it working standalone. In this video we are continuing our disassembly of the drive unit stack from a 2014 Nissan Leaf, we're collecting parts from elsewhere in the unit to so we can set the Nissan Leaf Inverter up for testing. The Inverter controls the power that goes to the Nissan Leaf Motor and as a result how much power the car will put on the road, so is a key part of our work on this conversion.
