Orchestral suite of music I composed for the full-length ballet 'Dorian', a modern-day adaptation of Oscar Wilde's classic Dorian Gray novel, choreographed by Ernst Meisner and Marco Gerris. The choreographers aimed to bring out the dark, gothic undertones of Wilde's original story, yet retell it in a modern world (a world predominantly concerned with appearances and in which people seek hedonism at parties and night clubs) and this is reflected in the music. 'Dorian' was premiered in 2023 with both classical ballet dancers from the Junior Company of the Dutch National Ballet and street/hiphop dancers from ISH Dance Collective. 00:05 1.
