My tyres need some warmup and I need to get a feeling for the kart handling at the start. At this evening stint the temperatures cooled down already, but the tyres (especially front ones) were used a lot already and would not be refreshed until a few hours later. So very different conditional compared to the early stints. This is not a particularly special stint to watch.. mostly experimenting and me narrating my mistakes, so don't mind that too much 😅. But I upload any karting recording anyway so here it goes 😋 The pitstops are done really nicely here at Agadir. A 3 minute minimum pit time. Entering the pits starts a timer, and after that there is more then sufficient time to step out the kart, take off the transponder (and lap timer), walk to the kart/driver-switch area where the personnel installs the transponder on the fully fuelled and random assigned kart. After that the kart+driver it weighed on a scale, and the personnel makes sure the weights are OK, before the driver exits the pits at its own timing of minimum 3 minutes, as displayed on the big TV screen. --- 👉 Check out www.okt-racing.com #OKT-Racing 👈 Special thanks to our sponsors All-port + Omnisafe + Finovion Maastricht-Heuvelland --- Video with statistics overlay created using "Race Render 3" software, based on CamBox v3 video footage and Apex-timing telemetry from the track. In future video's I will also test the CamBox v4 that I've ordered, but for this event CamBox has already shipped me the v3, which is really great service 👍 With this v3 the Field of View (at least with my body length) is just a bit too limited to see the kart/steering wheel as you are used to with my other (GoPro) videos. Unfortunately you can't see when and how I hit the curbs with this view. The camera angle is adjustable, so maybe next time I can improve it pointing it a bit lower, but then there would likely not be much horizon in the view area. Also with this v3 there is a 1.2s timing loss in the recordings between the video files, so that is why you see a short black screen every 15 minutes, as I had to compensate the video for correct start/finish line timings and I did not want to do a second phase rendering to cut those parts out again :)
