Jetstar Airways JQ298 : Flying from Queenstown to Auckland

10th September 2022 It was time to head back to Auckland so I'm flying aboard Jetstar on their 10 years old Airbus A320-200, VH-VFH. We arrived at Queenstown Airport after exploring the town. It was still early to check in but I passed the time by getting a few shots outside and inside the terminal. Once we checked in, we sat close to the window so I could capture as much footage of the apron as I could. Our plane then parked at Gate 4. Then as boarding time neared, we went through security and promptly boarded. I settled in Seat 2F before the plane pushed back while the crew made their announcements. Soon after, the plane taxied to the runway before taking off towards Auckland in stunning weather. During the flight, I received my meal of a chicken wrap paired with a cup of water which I'd pre-paid earlier online. The wrap wasn't anything special but it was enough to satisfy my snacking. I was a little bit disappointed they served water in a cup instead of providing the usual bottle form but that wasn't a major problem. The sun began to set and I knew that we were going to touch down in the dark. Eventually, we landed into Auckland on a calm night and then taxied and parked at Gate 23. After disembarking and collecting our bag, we hopped on a Park&Ride bus to a separate carpark so that we could go home. Another trip was over but Jetstar made it an enjoyable one. It wouldn't take long before another journey was under way.
