Three Sisters Circuit: My first Track Day in my Evo 6 RSX 560BHP. 21st September 2020.

This was the first time I’d ever been on track… my first track day. I got an Evo 6 RSX but it is too fast for the road so I’ve decided to take it on track days instead. The previous owner had modified it and it’s running at 560BHP; I’d only driven the car a few times on the road so I took it easy to start with and built up as the day progressed. I did a video log of the day as a diary to look back on and to monitor the progress that I make with my driving. The only important thing for today was making sure that the car and me returned home safely. The first session I did on high boost but this was too much; so I did all the other sessions on low boost. I did 5 sessions in total with the 4th one being the quickest. At the end of the 4th session my car’s ECU put the engine into limp mode to protect the car from heat build-up; when I did the 5th session, I drove really easy just to make sure the car was OK (which it was).
