The abandoned Olympic Hotel Igman near Sarajevo, destroyed in the wake of the Balkan wars, has now become a well-known lost place. The hotel and the ski jumps were built for the 1984 Winter Games and then destroyed in the 1990s. When we were there in May 2022, a SWAT unit of the Bosnian military was performing an exercise there, but everyone was cool and didn't mind us continuing to film there. Even though the story is extremely sad, such buildings, of which there are many in Bosnia, hold a morbid fascination. It is uncertain how long the structures will last, so we can only recommend looking at these monuments now, as they will eventually fall into complete disrepair. Music: both of us - infraction
