Novels of the Heart: Unpacking

I know there are many people out there who are struggling with low self-worth, identity, shame and vulnerability. I'm one of those people and up until recently (maybe 2 years ago) I never really thought much about what these insecurities actually meant for the way I lived my life. Many of my issues started in my childhood. Growing up in a safe and loving household, I never wanted to bring outside problems into this place that was so sacred to me. It also meant that I never actually dealt with problems such as bullying and so, naturally, this extended into my adult life- and will be a present force until I actually deal with it. So, unpacking today, here is an overview of why I decided to do this. Honest and unapologetic. Maybe some of you can relate to it. Maybe some of you want to share your stories or your thoughts with me. Inspired by Dr.Brené Brown, Eckhart Tolle, Peme Chödrön and Oprah Winfrey, I started to look into the factors that have shaped my existence and how I can use this knowledge to reshape my life into what I want it to be. #vulnerability #selflove #truth #story
