Join me as I tackle my first installment of Nintendo’s famous Fire Emblem series with Fire Emblem Path of Radiance. This will be a completely blind let’s play of this tactical RPG. From what I understand, Fire Emblem Path of Radiance is one of the best games in the Fire Emblem series, so needless to say I’m excited. In the Prologue of Fire Emblem Path of Radiance, we’re treated to a nice introductory cutscene and a quick tutorial. Shortly after we move into Chapter 1 of this blind let’s play of Fire Emblem Path of Radiance where we attack a group of mercenaries. Let’s try to make it through without losing any of our party right off the bat. Fire Emblem Path of Radiance is a tactical RPG developed by Intelligent Systems and Nintendo. It’s the ninth main installment in the Fire Emblem series. As with previous installments in the Fire Emblem series, Fire Emblem Path of Radiance gameplay revolves around positioning your characters on a gridlike battlefield and defeating an opposing enemy force. Just like all other Fire Emblem games, if characters are defeated in battle, they’re removed for the rest of the game. The story of Fire Emblem Path of Radiance takes place in Tellius, a separate world from other Fire Emblem games. Fire Emblem Path of Radiance was published in 2005 for the GameCube. Path of Radiance began development after the overseas success of the Game Boy Advance game Fire Emblem. This put Fire Emblem Path of Radiance as the first home console entry for the Fire Emblem series since Fire Emblem: Thracia 776. Fire Emblem Path of Radiance is also the first entry in Fire Emblem series to feature 3D graphics, full motion cutscenes, and voice acting (very humorous at that). Upon release, Fire Emblem Path of Radiance received widespread critical acclaim for its gameplay and story, though some outlets criticized its graphics. There is a direct sequel that was released in 2007, Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn.
