Been porting some UE3 work over to UE4 and have been documenting parts of the process. This works for any type of UE3/UDK map including Brush-based (BSP) and Landscape Terrains. There are a variety of methods you can utilize to go about this type of job and even more ways regarding how simple or complicated you want the process to be on the UE3, 3D or the UE4 end of things. For this example we are focused on Landscapes and any major build up. We will be recreating other aspects that cannot port or aren't ideal to port (Emitters, Sounds, Logic, Foliage, etc) within Unreal Engine 4 once this port process is complete. Quick Tutorials are intended to be relatively fast-paced (under 5 minutes or less is the goal) and quickly teach you protocol and process.
