The Carthusian monks have existed for over 1000 years, for the last 300 they have sustained themselves on the production of chartreuse. I was fortunate enough to go to the distillery where they age Chartreuse. Unfortunately, filming was permitted in the distillery, however this centuries old liquor has a story worth telling. In this video I dive deep into the history of Chartreuse, the taste of the mysterious liquor and my experience at the distillery.
