From Jesus’ Hometown to the Modern Galilee – My Nazareth Adventure

In this video, I take you on a fascinating journey through Nazareth — one of the most historic and spiritual cities in Israel — and then up to Nof HaGalil, its modern neighbor on the hills. The tour begins on Paulus VI Street, the main road leading into the heart of Nazareth. From there, we continue along Al-Bishara Street, home to the world-famous Basilica of the Annunciation. I filmed both outside and inside the church, capturing its stunning architecture, peaceful atmosphere, and beautiful interior design filled with art and devotion. After exploring the Basilica, I visited another nearby church, and continued walking through Al-Bishara Street and into the Nazareth Market, where you can feel the authentic life of the city — colorful shops, local foods, and friendly people. The walk ends at a large square where the Orthodox Church of the Annunciation stands, another important Christian landmark surrounded by the bustling city life. Nazareth is not only a place of deep religious history, but also the largest Arab city in Israel, rich with culture and tradition. From there, I continued my journey upward to Nof HaGalil — a calm, mixed city with both Jewish and Arab residents. I filmed its quiet streets, beautiful views, and ended the day at the Mul Harim Mall, a modern and impressive shopping center showing the city’s growth and innovation. It’s a trip that connects the ancient and the modern, faith and everyday life, from the sacred heart of Nazareth to the peaceful hills of Nof HaGalil.
