Blackpool Heritage Tram Tours Brush Car Running - 22nd September 2017

Well, it was that time of year again where I headed for a Blackpool for a fantastic weekend of trams from the famous Blackpool Tramway. A unique tramway that is the only of kind in the UK; the only one to have modern and heritage fleet running side by side. The Anniversary Spectacular was being hosted as planned, but Blackpool Heritage Tram Tours came up with another extra event. As well as the main event, they would run a one off event dedicated to the brush cars alone (seeing as it is their 80th Anniversary this year). Four brush cars were chosen to take part, these are: Brush Car 631, a Blackpool resident Brush Car 630, on loan from Crich Tramway Brush Car 623, on loan from Heaton Park Tramway, Manchester Brush Car 621, first time out after a lengthy restoration. On the afternoon of the Friday 22nd September 2017, we first see all four brush cars around the North Pier Tram Stop area. We then move up to as far as Pleasent Street area where we see them passing to/from Cleveleys. Sit back and expect more from this amazing weekend!
