Dyson "Slim" DC18 All Floors Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner. Made in Malaysia in December 2006. This machine is a long time favorite to add to my collection. This machine was one that intrigued me for a while, as it is Dyson's most unique ball upright. Some collectors could argue that this machine isn't considered to be a part of Dyson's "Ball" lineup, as even though it does have Dyson's ball technology for swivel steering, it does not contain the motor inside the ball, instead the motor is encased in the top portion of the cleaner, similar to a Shark. This machine is one of the best Balls to use in my opinion, and I really enjoy using it, as it's very easy and versatile to use. I acquired this machine from a couple that was selling it locally. They lost the stair tool in the process, but I was able to track down a replacement from an ebay seller in Canada. After a brushroll service, it's working perfectly! Unfortunately I still need to clean out the cyclone assembly, as not only is the bin cloudy, but the cyclone assembly makes a whistling noise when first powered on, as you can hear in the beginning of the video. Thankfully the motor itself is very healthy, as this machine was used very little before I purchased it, according to the condition of the machine, and what I was told by the seller.
