Alterations are an essential part of getting a jacket to fit for the individual. A fitting process can be misleading and confusing; a change on one seam of the jacket can completely alter the hang of another panel. To make this process as easy and understandable to follow, we have created a two part lesson. In part one, we will make 17 alterations on the pattern of our Traditional Model. You'll see the problem, the correction on the pattern and the result in action. In part two, we will show you step by step how to make 18 changes on your paper pattern to prepare the jacket for finishing in Module 2. Module 2 is currently in production and will be published this year. 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝟮 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 Join us in a crystal clear, step-by-step virtual apprenticeship with our free, in-depth coat-making course on YouTube.
