Thank you to a member of the public who has given us this information: The film shows a presentation of Yoko Ono entitled "DIAS presents Two Evenings with Yoko Ono" which was part of the "Destruction in Art Symposium" (DIAS). It took place at the Africa Center in 38 King Street, London on September 28th and 29th, 1966. Mrs. Ono with Anthony Cox (American filmmaker and her partner at that time) performs her famous "Cut Piece" and "Bag Piece". Notes from Pathe canisters: London VS Concept artist Yoko Ono seated on rostrum and fellow artist slowly cuts her clothing away while she sits motionless. He cuts down to her underclothes. VS of Yoko and her colleague climbing into a large black sack on their stage. They move around inside the sack. (Apparently this is called Bag-ism). (Orig. Neg.)
