Do your old consoles look like they have been sandblasted? Would you like to restore them to their glorious original grey or vibrant white colours? Well then this could be just the video for you. Not really instructional (but easy enough to follow if you did want to try your hand yourself), more results focused. If you've clicked this video you probably already know what retrobrighting is and how it works anyways... But for those who don't essentially you're placing your yellowed plastics in a substance called hydrogen peroxide (basically hair dye or bleach) and exposing them to ultraviolet (UV) light. Be careful and take precautions, hydrogen peroxide is an irritant and UV is dangerous because...well have you ever stared at the Sun...? No...? Good answer. This then causes a chemical reaction that, if left long enough, will reverse the yellowing built up over time and restore your classic gaming machines back to what they should be.
