Garoeda Restaurant Rijsttafel Rice Table Indonesian The Hague Garoeda Indonesian restaurant is one of the most famous Indonesia restaurants in the Hague. We were told that the Dutch Prime Minister dines here pretty often. We had a large group and we came on a weekeday evening. The place was crowded, mostly with locals! We took the Rijsttafel (Rice Table) menu which cost 26.95Euros. As we were not large eaters, the waiter kindly allowed us to order 8 portions for the 10 of us to share. Even then, there was way too much food! We received great service. We ordered a round of beer and the waiter gave us another round for free. He also gave us some goreng pisang. Well done Garoeda! Strongly recommended for whoever is visiting the Hague. I found the food to be delicious and very authentic. The taste is very similar to the type of food we get back in Singapore. Be warned, the food is on the spicy side, which wasn't a problem for us but it may be an issue if you can't take spicy food.
