It's been a minute but I'm back with another NIN mashup - and this time it is with the banger that is 6 Underground by Sneaker Pimps. There was a lot of requests for 6 Underground but it just took me time to find a NIN tune that really added something and wasn't just mashing two tracks together for the sake of it. I really love this tune and I had lots of fun getting the vocals to work together - particularly in the back end. Hesitation Marks seems to be an album that has quite a lot of potential when it comes to mashing tracks up with hip hop and trip hop because there is a bit of funk swagger to the tracks. Saying that - I had to swing the NIN parts to get them to sound a bit lazier against the Sneaker Pimps drum loop. I will be getting around to looking at some TDS stuff and The Fragile era tunes soon. As always, I DO NOT USE AI to make these mashups. They take days and that's fine..I enjoy the process. There are artefacts that come from stem separation which are annoying but impossible to erase at this stage...no doubt stem separation will improve over time..and when that happens there will be argument to go back and do a lot of remixing!
