It's a long-distance hiking route connecting various mountain trails, parks, and natural attractions, offering breathtaking views of Taipei's urban skyline as well as its lush forests and rugged terrains. Along the trail, you’ll encounter over fifty peaks and numerous scenic spots, making it a favorite for nature lovers, hikers, and those seeking to explore Taipei's natural beauty. The trail is divided into several sections, each with its unique characteristics, from challenging climbs to more relaxed walks, making it accessible to hikers of different skill levels. It’s also a great way to appreciate the balance between Taipei’s vibrant urban life and its tranquil green spaces. The first section of the Taipei Skyline Trail, stretching from Shiding to Xindian.
