This Belgian Pearl Sugar Waffles recipe is awesome and easy to make. They taste different than classic batter-based waffles and have seen a popular rise here in the United States over the years. Here in Arizona where I live, there are Liege Waffle food trucks that drive around serving these amazing waffles. The Liege waffle come comes from Eastern Belgium in the city of Liége, imagine that, haha. They are a richer, denser, sweeter, and chewier waffle than a classic batter waffle.
