· the sea is an animal · in the night you see its fire · While hitchhiking from Poland to Germany, just as it was getting dark and I was going to look for a nice patch of grass in the forest, a guy gave me a lift who was going to the Baltic Ocean. I just couldnt resist, so I drove 5 hours north to spend one night by the side of a fierce black animal, the sea. The random village where the guy dropped me off at 1 am in the small hours turned out to be called Sarbinowo. There I shot this video at 5 am in the morning after a beautiful night of constant dark red twilight painted over the black body of the wild oceanic creature, before watching myself sleep and continuing my way on the road.
