#diversity #primarysciene #Singapore #ngscience @ngscience https://ngscience.com/ Look around you—our world is filled with an incredible variety of things! Some are alive, like plants, animals, fungi, and tiny bacteria. Others, like rocks, water, and air, are non-living but still essential to life. Understanding this diversity helps us see how everything is connected and why maintaining it is so important. But how do we make sense of this great diversity of things? One way is to classify them based on their similarities and differences. This helps us organize what we see, recognize patterns, and understand how living and non-living things interact. Living things share common traits—they grow, need food and water, and can reproduce. Non-living things, on the other hand, come in many forms, such as wood, metal, ceramic, rubber, glass, plastic, and fabric. Each of these materials has unique properties, like strength, flexibility, or whether they sink or float. So, how can we observe and classify the amazing variety of living and non-living things around us? And why is it so important to protect this diversity? Let’s explore these big questions together!
