#dingyiwithyou - Ding Yi Encore! introduces an evening of delicate and classic traditional Chinese silk and bamboo music “Tunes from a Teahouse”, in collaboration with Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay Also known as Jiangnan Sizhu, silk and bamboo music is a unique style of traditional instrumental music that is said to embody the virtues of humility and teamwork. It is an important genre in Chinese chamber music and is well-known in the southern regions of the Yangtze River.
