Spotlight Berlin Circus Festival: Minna Marjamäki – Rope

In the center of this project is a 16 meters long rope, which connects the horizontal and vertical worlds. The rope is seen similar to the long limbs of humans and the bones inside of them. The boneless rope gives new possibilities for the often so tense body. Following the example of the rope, the body can now be relaxed and loose. Minna Marjamäki is a Finnish circus artist specialised in aerial rope, but having expertise also in other disciplines, like acrobatics and hand to hand.
