Thank you for listening; God bless you! #malayalam #message #christian ---~~~----~~~--- Pr Abraham Venmoney | 8 May 2022 നമുക്കുവേണ്ടി പണിയുന്ന ദൈവം • Jn 2:19-21esus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days." They replied, "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?" 21 But the temple he had spoken of was his body. • This was Jesus's sign to the Jews when they asked Him with what authority he drove out the money changers and sellers from the temple. • The temple Jesus spoke about was His own body which would be beaten up and broken into a million pieces. It was impossible to conceive how a dead, destroyed hum body could be restored. Still, in 3 days, Jesus was resurrected from the dead. It was then the disciples remembered His words. • This reminds us that God is in the business of restoration. Even the most broken people and families have hope. This is the good news we can share with others. • Look at our own lives and the grace He so freely showed us by calling us and making us vessels meet for the master's use. • 1 chron 17:10 " 'I declare to you that the Lord will build a house for you." • The context is David seeing the ark of the Lord had no house to dwell in. In the philistines temple of Dagon, where it was previously, the idol kept falling down. Finally, it was broken to pieces because of the Lord's ark nearby. We do not always need to rebuke all evil spirits, but God's mere presence in our lives will cause the enemy's stronghold to come crashing down. • When he tried to bring it from Abinadab's house, he wrongly chose to get it like the philistines did – on an oxen cart. And because Uzzah reached out to grab the ark, the Lord struck and killed him. After this, David sent it to Obed Edom's house for 3 months, where its presence blessed him abundantly. • A three-fold blessing on Obed Edom – you, your family, and all you have. The news of Obed Edom's blessing reached all the way to Jerusalem. So will our blessing be to the nations far beyond our territory. • David desired to build a house for the Lord, but God said no, not you – He promised to make David's family into a mighty house. We see his family listed in the ancestral line of Jesus Christ Himself. Jesus is called the Son of David, the rightful one to his throne. • Those who stand for the Lord, remember that the Lord will bless your generations to be established forever. • Ps 127:1 Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. • God's desire is we dwell in our own homes. He made the garden of Eden for Adam and Eve to swell and enjoy. He builds our homes. • When blessed with beautiful houses, remember to open the doors for the Lord's ministry, prayers, and cottage meetings. Look at Mark, he opened up his home, and on the day of Pentecost, it was the first place where the Holy Spirit fell on the disciples. God will bless what we dedicate to Him. • Matt 16:18- And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. • The rock here is Jesus Himself. The church belongs to Him; He is our Lord. Acts 20:28 Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God,[a] which he bought with his own blood. • Even to this day, He is building the church. May have tried to destroy it, but it continues to grow. Thank God who made us part of it as living stones. • The final victory belongs to Jesus and His church. • Jer 24:6 My eyes will watch over them for their good, and I will bring them back to this land. I will build them up and not tear them down; I will plant them and not uproot them. • God is building up His chosen people Israel. See their history - from being scattered across the globe for 100s of years to forming a nation within a short period. Not a bullet was fired for the reclamation of their homeland. Even today, the Aaliyah, or return, continues. • The cursing of the fig tree was a sign to Israel. Your redeemer drew near, but you rejected Him and had no fruits worthy of redemption. • As we see the signs of Jesus coming to happen more frequently, let us respond with equal fervency. Our waiting must be with diligence. • Heb 11:10 For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God. Our hope is for this eternal home built by God Himself. Therefore let us live our lives here with godly fear and devotion to Him. Heb 12:28 •
