I'm writing this while exhausted, so any weirdness will be adjusted later lol. Not gonna lie, I was kinda nervous when Trunks was next up on my list because I didn't think I could get properly motivated for a vanilla character, but I ended up having a lot of fun. Trunks is 1 of those og picks for a tech character. He's got unique footsies tools with his Change the Future & Cyclone Buster; he also has a beam with Masenko, and an overhead special with Shining Slash. Thanks to his new-ish updates however many patches ago, his damage and combo routes have improved, so he now has decent damage that can shoot up with assists. 1 of the reasons this took me longer than expected was how strict his new combo routes can get. Just like when the game 1st dropped, if you aren't stingy with your meter, H Cyclone Buster is a hell of a L/R mixup tool. And of course, Trunk's assist is 1 of the fastest in the game, with the 1 of the shortest blockstuns in the game, so it's perfect for Tic Grabs. Songs: 》The 1st song is Trunk's in-game music. 》That 2nd song is an extended Panty Stocking intro by MrHoverX; the original theme was written and performed by Hoshina Anniversary...
