In This video u will see thirty one saints, which are kept in the church of St. Andrew (Goa Velha) In an orderly manner. Church of St Andrew is the parish church of Goa Velha in North Goa. It's quite renowned for the Procession of All Saints that starts from its precincts a fortnight before Easter. It sees the village swarming with devotees and idols of saints, which are taken out from the church. If you time your visit correctly, you can join in the 2 km long procession too. Built in 1868,Church of St Andrew named after its patron saint. It came into existence after the church that was built in 1583 collapsed. The statues that are housed at St Andrew Church originally belonged to Monastery of the Capuchos, before the abolition of its religious order.
