I first got the idea to record a video featuring a Sim using the Love Inspector before the 29th October of this year, but it wasn't until today that I got around to recording it. Nonetheless, this is the twentieth video that I've taken this year to be based around a concept that I had this year. This video was a rather problematic one to record to say the least. And it took five attempts to get right. It would have taken one attempt, but the game erroneously marked Lindsay as an unrouteable Sim on the first attempt, forcing me to exit and reenter my save before recording a second attempt. Due to the way everything was set up in this video, every time I failed to get a decent video, I had to exit and reenter my save before trying to record the video again. The second attempt also had to be scrapped because there was a slight lag near the beginning of the recording, plus Lindsay was marked as an unrouteable Sim again. The third attempt was the only complete attempt at recording this video apart from the attempt that made the final cut. Since it was the only other attempt where Lindsay wasn't automatically reset, since I had disabled the stuck check auto reset before recording. However, due to lag, I had to try and record the video again. The fourth attempt also had to be scrapped since there were slight lags at certain points in the video, plus Lindsay was marked as an unrouteable Sim again. Finally, after disabling the stuck check auto reset and giving the game enough time to load everything after reentering my save for the umpteenth time, I was able to get a decent recording featuring no lags or stuck check auto resets. This video features Lindsay Van Gould using the Love Inspector thirty times at the Bridgeport Acres Spring Festival grounds. Sofia Martingale, Belisama Hemlock, Araceli Lemmon who is the daughter of the late Dustin Lemmon and Candy Plunkett, Gavin Pinkerton, Cori French who is the daughter of the late Hayley Shimmy and Trinity French, and Cruz Martingale also make appearances in this video. A couple of days after recording my previous video 'Watching the Snow Melt', I decided to move Sofia, Gavin, and Cruz to Bridgeport, since they all lived in Bridgeport at some point prior to moving to Appaloosa Plains. Although almost everyone that they would have known back when they lived in Bridgeport last has already died from old age. Having snow on the ground at the beginning of the video served as a reference to there being more snow after the snow melted on the first day of Spring. Even though it is currently Spring in my game, the snow that happened on the second day of Spring lasted until the fourth day of Spring, which means that my game was already nearly halfway through Spring by the time Winter was well and truly over. I don't believe the snow has ever lasted that far into Spring in any of my Sims 3 saves before. This video was taken on the 22nd November 2025, about 40 minutes ago. So it's brand new. Enjoy! :)
