Sanding Block Tote Using Parts from Lee Valley - Handy PortableOrganization Sanding Blocks

This is a sanding block tote that I made using parts from Lee Valley. I needed some portable organization for my sanding blocks. I've always had problems keeping track my sanding blocks in my workshop. My Preppin Weapons seemed to disappear and most of my other sanding blocks were stored in a drawer that was in another part of the building my workshop is in. As a result I could never find one when I needed it or I had to walk to the other end of the building. To solve my problem I made this handy tote for all my sanding blocks. This is a very simple project that anyone could make. The particular tote works well for my sanding blocks but could easily be modified for any sanding blocks including homemade blocks. The length is determined by the length of the boards used. As stated in the video the metal ends for this tote are from Lee Valley Tools. The video explains what to search for on their website. While these ends worked well for this tote they could be used for any similar tote. I've used them to make tool totes for gardeners and mechanics and give them as gifts.
