I was waiting for my dear friend Daniel ji to pick me up when Brahmani ji and her friend arrived to welcome me warmly at her friend’s home in Geneva. The hospitality and kindness instantly made me feel at home. After a delicious breakfast, we began exploring the stunning beauty of Geneva. Our first stop was the serene Buddha Temple — a peaceful place surrounded by nature, radiating calmness. From there, we headed to the famous Castle and took a funicular ride that offered breathtaking views of the Swiss landscape. The crisp air, scenic views, and laughter made every moment unforgettable. Later, we walked by the lake and soaked in the charm of Geneva’s calm waters and vibrant life around it. In the evening, we ended the day with a delightful picnic by Lake Geneva, watching the sun set over the water — a perfect ending to a beautiful day in Switzerland. It was not just sightseeing; it was an experience filled with warmth, friendship, and the beauty of nature. I've been wanting to do this since last 4+3 years but now the time feels just right. So I'm leaving my home for the next 75 days to backpack all over world, ditching my car and using only Trains, Buses, Flights and my legs as my only transport.
