This is an unnarrated walk of Seaport Village in Downtown San Diego California. This walk was late morning on a Wednesday before noon and the preview day of Comic Con 2025 at the nearby San Diego Convention Center. Seaport Village is a cool little retail center directly along the San Diego Marina. There are unique boutique souvenir and other specialty stores, restaurants ranging in variety and price, water features, music stage, and adjacent historic San Diego Police Station that is transformed into restaurants and shops including Starbucks, Mexican Eatery, and Cheesecake Factory and others. Also linked to this village within easy walking distance are the major Bayfront Hotels including the Embassy Suites, Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Intercontinental; as well as other downtown activity centers including the Convention Center, Gaslamp Quarter, the USS Midway Museum, and San Diego Trolley. This area has been a San Diego mainstay since the early 1980's and is currently in discussion by the San Diego Port District to be replaced possibly with more modern commercial center and public gathering spaces. The quaint seaside village atmosphere though is adored by locals and visitors and has a chill vibe particularly among the hustle and bustle that Downtown San Diego can be.
