Dr. Lyle Rapacki interviews Senator Mark Finchem and Representative Neal Carter, Speaker Pro Tem, of the House, on the first day of Arizona's legislative session. Both men had a lot to say about their priorities for the session, including border security, cybersecurity, inflation, and public safety. Senator Finchem talked about some of the issues that Yavapai County is facing, such as the Rodeo grounds, State Route 89 through the Dells, and election integrity. Rep. Carter is from Pinal County and mentioned that a lot of his constituents are worried about the cost of living, housing, and losing their individual liberties. The border issues include public safety, but also as a way that infectious diseases are showing up.
