As they travel into the unknown, they are forced to murder one another as a means to survive, not knowing who or perhaps what is controlling them. How our entry relates to the anime: The story of danganronpa revolves around a killing game between a group of “ultimate” high schoolers; we adapted that and assigned every member an “ultimate” role (with the exception of our artists, who were assigned the roles of Monokuma and Monomi instead). The animation’s theme is the killing game itself: each chorus represents a trial and the instrumental breaks narrate events that take place between trials.
