But what if you need them as movie props AND the movie doesn't have a huge budget? Answer: Call up motion picture armorer Larry Zanoff at Independent Studio Services (ISS). The movie in question is "Appaloosa" (2008) starring Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen. Larry explains how he and the ISS crew produced the 8-gauge scattergun Mortensen's character, Everett Hitch, carries in the movie.
