A Senate committee met Thursday morning to review the National Transportation Safety Board's (NTSB) findings into the deadly 2025 midair collision over D.C.'s Potomac River. Chairman Ted Cruz (R-Texas) issued a pointed warning to House lawmakers, urging the immediate passage of the Rotorcraft Operations Transparency and Oversight Reform (ROTOR) Act to prevent what he described as "preventable tragedies."
