What's Better than a Triple Axel? Highest Scored Women’s Figure Skating Elements 2024-2025 ⛸️💖

Continuing with this series to celebrate the 2024-2025 season, let's review the highest scored women's elements! Are triple axels and quads really the best elements to include? CORRECTIONS: I could not find usable footage of Anna Pezzetta from the European Championships, so the video of the 2A+3T is from Jr. Worlds :( it was her second best of the season though! Arina Kalugina did a 4S+2A with positive GOE at Jr. Worlds, but this didn’t come up on SkatingScores when I was searching, so I didn’t include it. That would have been the highest scored! A few notes on the logistics of this video: 1. I have included the highest scored element of each type by mean GOE (not the actual GOE score, just the mean score out of +5/-5) I did this so there is no discrepancy with base value or back loading. 2. To keep things consistent with my men's video, I have included combinations in this. If the jump was in a combination, even as the second jump, I counted it. 3. I know WTT hasn’t happened yet, but since only certain countries/skaters are invited, and the scoring tends to be a bit higher than usual, I chose to not wait to include it. 4. Finding videos of Worlds that will not be geo blocked after posting was quite difficult, so I had to use some personal footage.
