Today on my let's play of ARK Fjordur, we tame up the insanely improved Unicorn from the Kraken's Better Dinos mod, and the absolute beefcake of a crocodile that is Deinosuchus from ARK: Additions. If you enjoy this content, hit that like button, comment, subscribe, share, and turn on notifications so you never miss a video from me! If there's one creature that disappointed me, it would be the unicorn. Wildcard literally slapped a horn on an Equus, painted it white, and called it a day. The only thing noteworthy about the vanilla unicorn is that it's rare. Come on, man! Thanks to Kraken's Better Dinos, this thing goes from being a novelty to a very solid mount. It possesses truly magical abilities, including flight...which on Fjordur means that it's useless on every realm but Midgard/Vannaland, unfortunately. Still a stunning creature with real uses beyond the normal horse. And then there is the mighty Deinosuchus, or as I like to call it, the Beefcake crocodile. This powerhouse lived during the Late Cretaceous in the vast network of waterways which existed due to a great inland sea which cut the US essentially in half. Much like the Saltwater Crocodile and American Alligators of today, this beast dominated whatever river, lake, or estuary it found itself in. Thanks to ARK: Additions, this croc now stalks the waterways once again, hunting dinosaurs and survivors alike! I wanted one much earlier, but could never find a good level to tame until now. I was hoping to have one for the water caves as this thing would have obliterated nearly everything in there. They are a pretty simple creature to tame, and well worth the effort and danger to do so. It has a powerful giga bite attack which does massive damage and inflicts bleed on the target, in addition to a regular lame bite, and a cool tail smack. Honestly, the model for this creature is stupendous. It looks good, feels good to use, and can both take and dish out a lot of punishment. I might even try killing bosses with them!
