A young swan was seen in Hemingford Grey with a lot of fishing line bundled up around his bill. It's not uncommon for line to be wrapped around the bill or tongue and several inches are swallowed. Judicious use of the metal detector confirms a hook is not present and so I'm able to carefully remove the link which reveals a small amount of vegetation that has been caught on the end.
