I have accompanied various well know Irish dance troupes such as the O Shea and Inis Ealga Irish Dancers, worked with dancers from the famous River Dance show and played and collaborated with many other well-known artists from the traditional Irish Music Scene. My music was handed down to me from my own mother who was a music teacher teaching traditional Irish music on the piano and violin. My grandmother Christina Sheridan was one of the Comerford trio and some of her recordings can be listened to on the Irish Traditional Music Archives website, www.itma.ie/ Her mother and my great grand Mother was Bridget Mc Donagh Kenny who was awarded the title of “Queen of Irish Fiddlers” after winning all there was to win on the competition scene in those golden olden times.
