In this video, we review the book, "Not Afraid of the AntiChrist" and cover common objections to post-tribulationalism. We also cover objections to the pretribulational position. Dr. Brown once held to a pretrib position because it is what he was taught early in his faith. Eventually, after studying the scriptures he came to believe that the pretrib position is not found in the scriptures. Many will be shocked to learn that the pretrib position only originated in the early 1800's. And it is not the majority position worldwide. Why is the West so enamored with a doctrine that seems to contradict most of the New Testament in essence. We are called, many times over, to endure persecution. We are called to pick up our cross and follow Jesus. This is the normative Christian experience. If Pretrib is true why was it not true for the Apostles who almost all died for their faith? If it's true, why are Christians worldwide being slaughtered for their faith? Shouldn't they be raptured before enduring trials? This teaching is not found in Scripture and it is not what we see in history and the world around us. It's time to rethink what we have been taught and to build our house on the Rock of God's Word.
