New research from the charity 'Pregnant Then Screwed' has shown that 65% of parents across the country have reduced their hours or quit their jobs over childcare challenges. Many local providers also have long waiting lists and others aren't accepting any new children at all. Meanwhile, nurseries are facing their own problems. A lack of staff and the cost of running a business has forced many to close.
