Although familiar places, it felt good to relive the experience in a new perspective. I'm also glad to visit my dad and make new friends also. Originally attending a wedding on a Friday evening, we left Wednesday evening for JFK took the AirTrain, E train, and 6 train to the East Village where we stayed at a friends house. On a rainy Thursday, we took the train up to The Museum of Natural History at Central Park as our starting point and worked our way down to Rockafeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, Times Square, SoHo, the new World Trade Center site, Battery Park, Wall Street, and Pier 16 at the South Street seaport to see the Brooklyn Bridge before heading back to the East Village. Next morning we too the LIRR (Long Island Railroad) to Lindenhurst to attend a beautiful wedding at Chateau La Mer, which sits right on the water. On our final day, we took advantage of our time to catch the Train back to New York City and a bus to New Jersey to spend time with my dad and the rest of my family.
