Garage Made Star Trek TOS Phaser Model Kit OoB Review by TrekWorks

From TrekWorks A video review of the garage built Star Trek TOS Phaser Model Kit. This kit is 1.1 scale and has been released as either the 23rd Century Pistol or the Phazer II. Since this kit was never an officially licensed kit could be why there is no mention of Star Trek on the packaging or instruction sheet. Only the big photo on the box cover gives it away to any Trek fan. The kit itself is an outstanding effort and is very accurate both in scale and appearance to the original prop from the series. The parts are cleanly molded and all fit very well. The model can be painted to represent any version of the phaser seen in the series since the only differences were the colors and not parts. Plenty of room to wire it for lights and sounds. Aftermarket parts may be getting scarce for these but there was an aluminum crystal emitter tip along with some other metal detail parts.
